Last week we welcomed the Stena Bulk team to Sedna HQ & boy can they come again! Nils Israelsson & Sara Westerberg ♠️ carried some delicate cargo all the way from Gothenburg, Sweden in the form of a model of the Stena Immaculate. She now has pride of place in our office alongside the Stena Bulk flag from Phil Thompson & the Houston office. We’ve just hit the one year anniversary with the team and I can honestly say, the dedication to excellence is amazing. Workflows have been transformed, consistently being monitored, adapted & rolled out with sheer efficiency. A huge shoutout to Nils Israelsson for pushing us at Sedna (and the Stena teams) to always push for success! It’s a pleasure to work with you and Stena Bulk. Here’s to many more years! 💪🥳⚓️

Very important gathering taking place in Copenhagen on the same week that the International Maritime Organization ‘s member states discussed in London how to accelerate the green transition in the #shipping industry. #leadership and #dialogue are two main factors to reach consensus around a global marine fuel standard and a pricing mechanism that will bridge the price gap between #fossil and #green fuels.A.P. Moller - Maersk fully supports the green balance instrument suggested by the World Shipping Council, a recycled fee that will place the extra cost of green fuels on fossil fuels and in addition, it will open the door to a #justtransition allowing the creation of a fund for developing countries. Vincent Clerc John Podesta Morten Bødskov and @Alan Leventhal have discussed this and other key elements of the green transition. Way to go!!!!#allygewaytozero
